Spring
Daffodils sway gently in the warm breeze
whilst buzzing sounds the business of bees.
The birds sing for the arrival of spring -
a chorus for brighter days it will bring!
Dewy pastures of lambs pure white as snow,
frolicking gaily in play as they grow.
Trees adorn in green after winters blight
stand watchful over landscape within sight.
Hibernating animals wake from sleep
as seedlings emerge from the ground to peep.
Butterflies spread their wings under sunbeams
dancing like young lovers chasing their dreams.
Like an artists full palette of brightness,
the days are full of colour and lightness.
Spring at her most glorious in full bloom,
dispels the pallid of a winters gloom.
