Spring

Cold snow white robes are laid to rest As nature bows at spring's behest And land with new life is blessed. Snowdrops peek out from hardened ground Then daffodils their trumpets sound proclaiming spring is around. Flamboyant tulips kiss the sky As liberated wings fly by So beautiful to the eye. And daisies coyishly unfold Amidst the buttercups of gold What wondrous sights to behold. 22.01.21 'Attention To Detail Poetry Contest' Sponsor : Rob Levasseur
