Spooky Shenanigins
I know exactly what you must be thinking
I've possibly gone mad and have been drinking
Neither of these statements are actually true
Please believe me what I'm going to tell you
I was walking home from town late last night
Passed through the graveyard I got an awful fright
A coffin which I thought was safely underground
Suddenly came alive making a terrible sound
The coffin lid opened a fraction I could see inside
Expecting to see a body of someone who had died
I peered in and there wasn't a body there
A spooky tale with you I really had to share
My walk home was now a very fast run
Seeing that I can assure isn't jolly or fun
I poured myself a whisky to settle myself down
Certainly won't forget walking home from town
