Spokes
Spokes
One of my favorite things to do use to be
to build a fire and watch the stars.
I did this as often as I could and each time
I was amazed by the magnitude of the Universe,
humbled by my insignificance,
but one warm Spring night I realized
the Universe would not be the same
without me, without any of us. We are each
vital to this dynamic force called life,
spokes in an ever-turning wheel,
connected at the center of the Universe.
