Splendorous Scenes
Sand silent; mud mum; tree-roots petrified,
Thick layers of snow dumped like crystal flood dried;
Split, the snow rocks melt and moodily flow,
Sunless, silently, stumbles and flows slow...
Slow flow; then there's another sudden death,
Habitats mock at its struggling for breath;
Plants and trees stand like spirits of the dead,
Moving as though phantoms, all around spread...
Heavens break-into tears as though in pain,
Thunderous, they fall like torrential rain;
As this, like rare guests, arrives once a year,
I cherish it, midst frost-chill atmosphere...
