Notes About The Poem

Splash

Splash

How I love
        to see you splash
                            grandchild.

You find puddles
        after rain such fun.

You float your
                 paper
                          boat with joy.

I smile
      and I laugh
                 to see you
                           having so much fun.

You are my gift from God
         my
                sweetest Angel child.

Hi Connie, it is wonderful to see how simply a child can find enjoyment and the joy parents or grandparents can get out of watching them. I caqn feel the joy through this wonderful write. You capture such wonderful moments with such ease.I always used to enjoy such things when I was a child. Brings back memories. Have a wonderful Thursday. Hugs....Mike. XX

You certainly take delight in watching your grandchild play and enjoy herself, Connie, and it shows in your words. I like the lovely accompanying visual, too. ~ Warm regards // paul

Really wonderful write, Connie. Splashing water was such a fun thing to do as a child, be it in the pool, the bathtub, or a puddle. Love the cute picture too. I wish you all the best in the Splash contest (and Yalto too?) Appreciate your comments, my friend. Hugs ~ John

awww, so sweet . You did GREAT with the form, Connie. Will you also use for Yalto entry? I want to do two contests with same poem but I never know which judges do not mind us doing that. In fact, I see three contests right now I could do using one poem!!
