Spiteful Minds - Edward Mccormick

"Spiteful Minds"

by~ Edward McCormick

Disdainfully negotiating gain,
The spiteful mind their heart's desire alone.
An obvious destruction they attain
Through dialogue with underlying tone.
A tiny drama brings about an end.
In spite of mind, the heart wants what it bleeds.
Enlightenment is key to comprehend
So very little satisfies our needs.

by~ Poet Destroyer

Heavy and alone, two "Spiteful minds",
The worthless moments in the skies.
With no reasons and why's!
The warning sounds of midnight, thick and blind,
Giving our hearts away, a solid sign.
Wicked taste mountains of lies.
Satisfaction In our breathing eye's.
Waiting for our gushing needs to land unwind;

Stiff like the blood beneath the sea.
"Spiteful minds" rising beyond to morbid moon.
Destruction in the slowness of ones purity
The world, is a gift one prolongs to see.
A music box with no tune.
Needing and spending, we lay in spiteful tears of misery.

Once again, matching with another writer so very well. Your new talent is chameleon! I don't think I could do this, change my style to match different people. I have seen all your new stuff, Irma. If you can think of some older ones I have not seen, please let me know! I left you some soupmails. Guess I will try to do a few more comments and get upstairs. Many contests to work on too!

You obviously have a talent for bouncing ideas off other writer's words, Linda. Another very good collaboration. I'm not at the Soup much at present, due to computer problems, but I hope to be back big time soon, with a new computer! xoxo Robert.

Hi Linda, amazing what you two came up with! Both contain the deep dialogue to captivate the mind. Well done and I enjoyed your creativity.

Both of you are genius, read it and felt 'spiteful' to the extent I can. Thanks. bl
