Spirits Will Uplift
Spirits Will Uplift
When can this finally be a wake up call?
So start to stand up before we finally fall
And bring everyone back together again
With many smiling faces and spirit within.
I really never like bragging or to ever boast
But of many things that worry me the most
It is my poems no longer to continue to write
Wanting to challenge you and then invite.
Ebola and killing have been in the air;
Of all things in Ferguson what is fair
Why would you want to take a life away?
Maybe while holding a big walrus at bay.
God save me from sin and remove all fear
Knowing Christmas time is close and near
Your Son truly was our very greatest gift
And now all of our spirits you will uplift.
