Spirit Walk

I never know what I will find
when I wander through my mind

Like a deer trail that’ll bend and wind
a mountain forest in my mind

Twinkling stars through pine trees shine
a twilight meadow in my mind

Truth and lies seem to fall behind
in the tangled bushes in my mind

With clearing thoughts I seem to find
forgotten dreams inside my mind

As shadows clear I’m not so blind
to built up hardships in my mind

I walk, I heal and soon I find
a Tru spirit walk in my own mind.

When we stop long enough to have that walk we can find all sorts of items some good, some bad, and some that need discarding. Keep writing. Sara
