Notes About The Poem

Spirit Me Away To Paradise

Don't go just yet, my lovely
                 Don't go, not without
                      one last kiss to...
              spirit me away to paradise.

           Give me one singular memory
to hold on to; leave me with
the aroma of your enticing fragrance to...
             spirit me away to paradise.

           Your saccharine-sweet kisses
make my soul fly like a kite
    so give me just one more for the road;
             spirit me away to paradise.

Before you walk far out of sight
                  run right back to me
I need one last embrace goodnight to...
             spirit me away to paradise.

Let me feel your touch once more.
              Turn your head from afar,
smile and blow me a goodbye kiss to...
             spirit me away to paradise.
