My body aches from the game you play
You don't know how to be friends with me.
It's just like trey says
there's no going back when you've gone that far
because the emotions are still there
Whether you want them or not
You're doing this now
and making this harder
because you don't want me to go on
It's a nice image and something I can keep
but there's still so much that felt so wrong
These constant emotional battles
aren't winning this fight
You've gotten your words down
so everything just seems right
The past I still cherish
for they were my firsts
and showed me I could be loved
I'm moving on now
and you need to too
You need to let me fly
