Spiral

You know things have been tough before, I've done what I can, I should've done more. Thinking I knew what I was doing, I knew I had a problem, slowly loosing the things we both had in common. I can't apologize enough to make you feel at peace, Wishing that the contempt between us would just cease. Wanting to grow old with you was my goal in life, now I must go at it alone with such strife. Never knew how to fix myself from within, just never knew where to begin. There's no book or set of instructions for living together, just adapt to the changes of our hearts own weather.
