Dear david What a cute ninette, so descriptive too! I can hear thunder and im literally scared now, as im scared of thunder, most of my brit friends complain about rain … so this made me smile thinking of them…lovely summer rain youv depicted here in such a picturesque manner! Pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always! Best wishes for the contest

It’s strange the way some people have an almost visceral reaction to thunder, I know lots of people that are scared of it, I love the sheer spectacle and the whole sky lighting up lol! Thanks so much for nice comments on my little ninette, and the light/ning of course :) cheers David

I probably sacrificed more natural imagery for shape and rhyme, but on the whole I’m happy with it, not the rain of course lol! Cheers David

Haha I actually have rain noises playing on my phone right now at the request of my daughter who wanted to see if they helped her sleep - funny! A great nature write you have here tackling the Irish weather - I had to nip in Penny's and buy new socks when I was in Dublin as my boots were letting in water :)

Haha! You totally vindicate my take on the Irish weather, at least I don’t need any therapeutic phone sounds, I hear it hammering down so often. Good old Penny’s can’t beat it! Although I’ve invested in all things Gore-tex at this stage, cheers David
