Dear Jez, as ever, you prove once more that you are a master of shape haiku. I don't like to be caught by those 'arms' to be on the 'woven bridge of lace'! Many a time I have been touched by those sticky arms and it is disgusting....

JCB, WOW! So brief and concise…But by the end, you had me outside, in my backyard, walking thru a large one of those lacy, web bridges! Feeling its light moisturecollasping on my bare arms…Why hadn’t i ssen it? How had the spider gotten from one side to the other, 4’ above ground?
