Spider's Web

spider's web

silken strings of love
make my happy home

delicate to touch
inspiration of beauty to envision

entrapping my tasty lunch
with temptations of my long legs’ rapture
only to feed my tiny seedlings

all colors of the rainbow
seen from the prism
of light that beams
on my home spun with love

Nice use of alliteration to open this poem. This could be taken more than one way--an asset for any poem as the reader can bring in his or her own interpretation. Interesting imagery. Thank you for sharing this poem with us and for your kind words on mine. Karen
