Spiders song

Here is a poem I posted on my Instagram account daisymeadows2023. Poetry prompts by POETS ISLAND and poem suggestion by @sabrinas-poems.

SPIDERS SONG
A silken Web has been spun,
A pattern of beauty,
Weaving and dancing has begun.
Of each delicate strand,
A tale unfolds,
Of creatures fate,
In the spiders hold!!
Such nimble legs,
Dancing with such grace,
Then hiding in the shadows,
Not showing their face.
A spiders song is bittersweet,
But such beautiful tapestry.
All unique!!
Each web has it's own mystery,
A spiders song,
Weaved in harmony, like a symphony!!

I have always been fascinated by spiders and I love your poem about them. I have often written about them too but not lately. Thanks for visiting my poems today. A pleasure. SuZ

We can overlook the web with its fine artistry. Are the spiders as proud as we when we create? Do they look over and over again the web they’ve woven?

I am not on Instagram. I loved your poem. A spider's web is a work of art. Pity those who get caught.

That’s a beautiful song Daisy, spiders work hard to weave their webs, so intricate and finely spun, folk can’t help but turn their heads to gaze upon… Beryl
