The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Spider Spirit

Wrap me in your web so aptly made. Cocoon me from the storms of life. Sensitive to the sounds and emotive powers that be. The vibrations of this life rattle me to the core, but the foundations of your web catch me so. We are so delicately tuned, so alike, protective of our kin, to the point of hostility. Yet you are so more wise and patient than I. You help me persevere through all adversity, and show me the joy within the journey. My eyesight withers, yet I see ever more clearly. I can sense peoples' hurt, longing, pain, and wish to bear their burdens as my own. Like a mother, I hope to guide those within my circle. To craft their potential and nurture talent unseen. I weave a web that shall make my future fruitful. A safe place to learn, grow and develop. Rainy days shall not subdue me, nor my work. The deceit of others cannot penetrate my fortress. Self determined, with your guidance, shall i bloom. Easily I grow attached to those I care for. Each strand, of my web, an avenue of my soul. Sad to see them go, to grow apart, lose them. With resilience I form new bonds, stronger than before, that shan't wither with the changing of the season. I am an activist, feminist, a fighter for rights. Wearing my heart on my sleeve, I love fiercely, for a mothers' love is unrelenting, unbreakable. Silently working away for a legacy that lasts, that shall surpass my time and bless those to come.
