Spider Bill

A boy had a spider called Bill
which gave his sister always a chill
one day a cat came into their house
but instead of catching a mouse
she had eaten up poor little Bill

Wow! Gert, I have never known you to enter a contest, lol,,but than again I have not followed so many of your past poems. good luck in the contest if it is still opened. Poor boy, hope he is not to sad to have his spider gone. But, really spiders make my skin crawl bad, Gert! I am glad the cat ate it...lucky it is only a Limerick! Enjoyed,..p.d.

Gert, this entry didn't make it into the contest I sponsored with John Freeman. Did you enter it in another contest? I love the humor, my friend, and if you entered it in a different contest, I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
