Specificity
People enjoy Specificity
So I’ll give them what they want
Deliberately after the murky rain fell for what seemed like years
I sat in a corner of the coffee shop on my Windows HP Pavilion x360
Doing the multitudes of work that towered over me like the overtly bright fluorescent lights
I begin utter work and answer the intellectual questions of others because sometimes we are in positions that require us to step up and deliver the knowledge the world needs.
Soon my mind goes astray and becomes, some would say distracted, aloof
I stand up with my gross casual tennis shoes and I frolick out
I wouldn’t normally be frolicking but the sun was giving out massages today with a free purchase of the calming wind.
Rays fluttered through the clouds and I listened to Mitski
Tranquility
Sublime Tranquility
I found myself, after the bright adventure, getting mundane food.
Extravagant conversation makes up for food that is so unapologetically pitiful.
After I engulf the rest of my meal I find myself like a bee to honey
Attracted to unique social interactions with other individuals
Catching up on how they are. Having legitimate connections.
Going outside under that big ball of fire
Exchanging pictures talking about the dance last night
Encouraging one another with bliss and optimism
Exchanging conversation about crushes and idealisms
Giving advice to a friend to finally come back and continue work on this dramaturgy packet
Only to get distracted again by writing another poem when you should be doing work.
