Special Me, Special You

Today I celebrate me, 
Today I celebrate you. 

I am me, 
And you are you. 

Gifted, unique, and talented too. 
I am happy to be me, and so should you. 

There’s no one like me and no one like you,
Not fifty, a dozen, or even a few. 

You should be proud to be who you are,
Because when you are, you shine like a star.

Our lives may be different, and that’s okay.
Together we can learn, grow, and love anyway.

So let’s celebrate and smile all day,
Because with me being me and you being you – we’re both okay.
