Special

Special
looking out from of those almond eyes
while chubby fingers grasp the plastic keys that dangle tantalizingly
a broad smile escapes her face
and an
ooooooooooooooooooooo is ushered forth from innocent lips

special
not too many like her
as she gushs from the attention bestowed upon her by her mom
she has another sibling
one who
has the eyes of the father

special
born to be ever fresh and ever childlike
a white lily
in a sometimes garden of thorns.
