Speaking The Truth

Like the nectar of a ripe peach taste,
is the outcome of a word well placed.
For truth as it begins to unfold,
is understood only if correctly told.

My friend Bill, the truth about everything can be revealed if the appropriate language is employed. This is the fundamental underpinning of contrasting poetry.

True, the meanings of words are different if used in a different context. When we write, sometimes the audience we address is different than the audience that reads and comments on out poetry. The broader audience we address, the greater acceptance of our words. It's good to offer a variety of poetic forms to create greater acceptance and a larger audience in general. Thanks for your thoughtful comments, my dear friend. Bill

I love this write that uses brevity to punch its impact and truth forth. Words of kindness pack a sweet, lingering taste, as well. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
