Speaking of Metaphors
Paced
with feline femininity
she enters the room.
An extension of thought
the avatar companion
denied sense without senseless
is a quiet accompaniement
to sing the somnambulist's song.
Echoing her still roar
she freezes,
as silence replies.
Free in her thousand lives of
different ways,
she decides to
leave the world
to fall.
And Appearing
to have misjudged,
steps lightly
on her dilligent,
cautious path.
And while I,
search
for the quiet life.
She inhabits
the space
of memory
and shadow,
evoked from
the travelled road
and the slow
piano hand.
