Speaking of Love
I would speak of love
if only, I knew how
but so often, it did escape me
and never did it once, try to take me
into its secret treasures only to be measured
by those chemical and organic flesh pleasures.
How long and contemplative
did I dream of that love so eloquently stated
in texts and poetry of lover euphoria well elated
so as you become entangled and immersed
remember that love is a mere temporary discourse
and its desire is deep and often unrehearsed.
