Speak To Me

I
      read
                 with
                  my eyes
but
        speak
                  poetry
                  aloud
most
         read
                  as
                   prose
'til
        the
                 poet
                 recites
with
           delight
                   to
tickle
             the
                   ear
showing
                when
                  to pause
so
      silence
                can
                      sound
to
       inflect
                     and
                     intone
let
         dialect
                      speak
its
      voice
                 yes a voice
his
       voice
                   is all
I
seek
