Speak

Speak up little child,
for you might not know
the water has gone blue
and the sky has gone cold.

Speak up little child,
for you might not know
your mama is gone
and your papa is home.

Speak up little child,
for you might not know
you have seen death
but I still don't.

Speak up little child,
tell us what you know.
You can trust us,
where ever you go.

Congratulations of being featured this week. This is a very wonderful poem. Train up a child the way she should...and she will never depart. This is wxcellent. Great job! ~Joseph
