Sparkling Stars

The stars sure sparkle with all of their might Intrigue dances inside of each worn heart Pinholes bring glory by giving their light Successful sight is brought with a new start Enigma of the sky the stars bring pride The stars sure sparkle with all of their might They band together and surely confide The stars bring us hope and wishes delight The little specks of light are quite a sight Harbors a sense of love, a descript form The stars sure sparkle with all of their might The stars link as one and they sure conform A grand image is what’s right before me The stars glow, shining as if they are bright There are some shooting stars, I wish nightly The stars sure sparkle with all of their might

This is a very nice poem Russell, i like the little specks of light.. This is the kind of imagery I want and desire in my latest contest... I will allow new poems in my contest. I ask for old poems. I love it when poets can put their old poems to use... thank you for the diamond grand image... always~ LINDA

Do you live in a rural area? One does not see many stars in the city sky. I did look through a telescope once in Coney Island and saw the moons around Jupiter. Nice tribute to the night sky! Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish
