Sparkling Stars

Awaken at dawn of night
The stars I greet
For it's there morning
but not mine
A thousand times I greet
Each becoming easier than the next

The sparkle in your eyes
Freshens my sight
Ever lasting love I keep
It's what you give
Photo's fade
and roses die
What I give is eternal

Apart we can't be
Like an eagle soaring free
Shallow and deep
Through the open sky
Creating the wind
Heavily armed with love

Dancing slow and close
Taking in the beat
of your racing heart
Sleepless nights will occur
Dreaming of that precious moment
Sleeping soft in me
Dancing forever with it
