Spark

Engulfed by the mighty waves in your darkened sea Cascading towards me, every crash in the surf causing ripples to expand Drowning in the residual effects of your indifference and brutal wrath What lingers causes us to decay We never burn in the deadly inferno That is surrounding us It is the spark that is left behind That ignites the fiery explosion That we never anticipate © 2008 Courtney Dyer
