Spaceship

I’m back in my cosmic shell
My thoughts are lost in space
Forever cast into this dark familiar hell
Fear finds an old acquaintance’ face

My thoughts are whispered...
For fear of the nightmares they breed
My soul can breathe easy in this vacuum
Travelling the universe at a need for speed

When a star is born with every dying neuron
How else could we ever hope to get to heaven?
