Were the core of our planet gold,
Would we still be scouring space?
Or would we put the moon on hold
While to earth’s center we race?

If most of humanity, without haste, begin nurturing, loving, and protecting the Earth along with all life forms living on it, then most (for the welfare of humanity's future) cosmic explorations will then be greatly justified! Otherwise...I love that you brought this subject out in the open, whether intentionally or otherwise. Thank you, Milt!!...ab *{space mining benefits only the largest corporations}*

Most interesting conjecture on my little poem, Anselmo. Thanks so much. I'm interested in seeing how various readers react to it.
