The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Space Inside My Head

Space inside my head

Things are written

That can never be said

It gives me space inside my head.

Poetry lets my demons all out

A safe place to cry, scream and shout.

Relieving, reviving, it gives me it all

 I reflect, i stumble;

Not fall.

Poetry is a saviour to me

Somewhere to run, to hide;

 Not flee.

As I am writing my calm it returns

For peace and tranquillity is what my soul yearns.

Alunamda, this explains poetry for a lot of us, my friend. Thank you for making it so "real".
