Sowing a Seed To Make Me Bleed

does a church bell still toll upon your soul in death your need to succeed impede greed has shame found your name through the pain i bleed as you watch the heart you stole become whole the seed you sown now grown ink her mind's screed can you feel the fraught in my every thought as tears rain down in drops of crimson pain my blood scribes of eyes taut not of love sought as my voice screams your name again in vain yet i cannot undo what you have wrought time does not alter a memories' reign January 28, 2020 Sowing a seed to make me bleed

Wow... My friend. Rest in the garden of forgiveness. The water there only moves with the sound of music played far away...ever so lightly. As not to disturb the souls that gather. Well written and powerful. As always your ink is golden and runs hot and cold like ice and fire equally leveling the field ... Ann

Deep too deep thoughts that answers cannot be easily given my dearest friend, Sandra. We can only believe or not believe something for the essence of reality surpasses the ability of our perception and knowledge. Therefore we are left with faith. If we doubt , simply we are lost. Hugs xxx

You poem evokes melancholy as you create a story --posing questions that beg for answers --already found in memory lane, as you say. Your theme resonates, Sandy.

The poet who says she cannot rhyme, does it again, time after time. : ) This was so cool Sandy, sad but beautiful and I agree with one below, this should be POTD. If this is for a contest, best wishes my friend. A big ~Sigh~ from me
