Southern Belle

Sweet and charming in everything I do or say
Outspoken when it is called for
Unique in my own right as I am sassy too
Talks with an accent that some like
Hospitable to each and everyone
Enjoys being a flirt
Really knows how to charm
Never gives away my inner most thoughts

Beautiful in my own right
Each day is another day to be
Learns manners early on
Lady like in all the public sees
Eloquent even when I do not want to be

WOW! an acrostic! you hit the nail on the head. this made me home sick for the south which i love. i do not miss atlanta but i do sincerely miss savannah, my heart. but mostly the southern bells and gentelmen that say "have some" before they eat. and "did you get enough" when they finish. you touched me. I could NEVER be a Southern Belle!!! I am too wild and crazy with all my tattoos and stuff, hey do you think they allow Southern Belles to have funky colored hair? Back in the day I could have been "Punk Southern Belle", new installation in "Malibu Barbie", :)....Leerie

I was born a Yankee, but having lived in North Florida for quite some time, I think you have given the perfect summation of a "Southern Belle." The accent is charming and the local ladies really seem to know how to turn on the charm. Lovely portrait of a Southern lady! Love, Carolyn
