South Carolina Sun

Palm trees fingers stretch in the sweltering breeze,
bending over graciously,
It shelters Mr. Bluejays retreat,
Above, clouding blue skies prepare to shower,
No movement in this afternoon sauna,
Life must wait for South Carolina sun to settle.
