South by Southeast

Scraping this rhyme from pages of blood pages of sweat
Wild demon
With a violent voice echoed by saturated bleeding sunlight
Hijacked innocence Winter's pariah falls into the fervent shade
My Old town picks up the pieces of a broken heart
My Old town would takes me dancing and gets us some drink
The patina of youth brushed with Fripp and mixed by Eno
Those who stand out
Make it a point to go their own direction
The way of the Gypsies and Witches those that hear that last shout
The people who see a foretelling dream
I can't believe we don't know our power
They say if we all wished together
It would come true
Shadows of darkness towers over a warm soft night
Contempt paints
Portraits of serenity's preserved heart
Yo peace please come to me
Think it through and get it right
Take me home tonight
