Source of Our Awareness

Man was born to make things happen the universe finally had enough After expanding and exploding for eons was time to get answers about some stuff With no end in sight a resolution was needed as the fireworks just wouldn’t stop Space, light, and dust, kept repeating even gravity sometimes went pop So what better than human imagination to put in place a plausible fix With paradoxes spinning out of control mans mind was chosen to mastermind tricks One way or another we find solutions insane chaos is never allowed Deus ex machina, fills in blank spaces and it works, but never say this aloud So for now the universe is happy in a man made oblivious state Leaving us to our own devices with the burden of explaining it’s fate Of course stars continue to go nova and that’s ok we ride along Passing the buck to a creator God picks up pieces, when things go wrong The moral of this story may appear obscene to make humanity the middleman of sense But without us who else can ponder an infinite void, and questions so immense Oh ye of little faith, I see a God no doubt perhaps different from the one you praise Mine is evident through conscious perception in plain sight, No! just slightly out of phase Source of our awareness Poetry Contest Sponsored by Unseen Seeker 01/19/23

Bravo! You make a lot of sense. You made me think how powerful the brain is. An awareness, an epiphany, a divine manifestation, it's exhausting, isn't it? Let the gods fix it! Best David, for the contest! Faving

Indeed Anaya! octopuses are very crafty hunters, and problem solvers, but I honestly believe human intelligence has exponentially outgrown evolution at this stage, next stop we merge with AI, exciting times we live in lol, David

I haven't seen my sister Rose in years, I think of her face and my mind retrieves a complete and exact picture of her! I just saw the documentary "My Octopus Teacher" an octopus has the intelligence of a cat or dog, amazing!

Heya Anaya, I honestly believe our minds consciousness is connected intrinsically and eternally to the universe at large, we simply have to be here we had no choice, information cannot be destroyed, thank you so much for the Fave, cheers David

Heya Mike, I would definitely encourage you to put your thoughts on these immense, seemingly unanswerable questions down on paper if possible, but I’m delighted you found this one fascinating nonetheless, thanks so much for stopping by today, have a great weekend, cheers David

We keep hoping that someday, the world would recognize the value of what he was provided. By letting God's light into our hearts, we may become aware. Many people in the modern world reject God's gift to them, despite the fact that they ought to be eternally thankful for what he has done. I like to think that there is an infinite amount of ways things may go wrong, so I try to maintain an optimistic outlook.

Perhaps omnipotent beings are created by man to give us hope and make sense of the universe Lasaad, I don’t believe we just randomly evolved over time, I believe human consciousness is an inevitability of the universe and eternity, we simply have to be here at this particular point, but hey that’s just my take on the contest, cheers David

Thought provoking verse David, I don't think man fully understands the universe and never will, they offer plenty of theories and many accept them as facts. If there was a big bang and everything blew outwards then there is a chance it will come back on itself, the big crunch they call it, then again only a theory. Tom PS. Heya Tom, Big bangs, Big Crunches, Big Rips, could be going on rebounding for all eternity, which I believe in essence brings hope, that everything possible that can happen will happen an infinite amount of times, I also don’t believe death is the end, I just view it differently than organised religion does, oh yeah thanks for reminding me, I took down my Valentine post to change it up a bit and totally forgot about it, then I got carried away with this one lol, I’ll try it again tomorrow, cheers David
