Source of My Existence
He said, "The Transporter thinks you're demanding."
How could that be with I say please, thank you, and kindly?
Honestly, the Great Aunt once said, "... they think you're soft."
To demand that life treats me kind, I know of kindness
To demand respect, I cook up and serve respect
To demand perfection, I stand a perfect model to the world.
This constant flow of bitter/sweet reflections
I see show cases of thoughts, words, and deeds,
Highlighted upon walls of my mind, how kind!
Today, I am becoming as new leaf of spring, that's
Sprung in concert with petitioner's petitions-
The Source of my existence evergreen strong.
