Source of Light

Art thou splendor and majesty
oh Jehovah
brighter than the lightening
that flashes forth
from the corners of our heavens
whose messengers are a flame of fire
and servants girded with the Truth
you have sent them forth
even the army of them
to do your will
they mount up like riders
upon the winds
to scatter all those who oppose you
and your annointed
that the nations
may know that you alone
are the living one Lord Sovereign Jehovah
righteousness and truth do drip
like dew upon the firmament
you are my high place and crag
my refuge my God
out of you do spring forth
the fountains that water
all the desert places
which nourish both great and small
blessed is one the cherishing your name

sources the psalms
