Interesting poem this, Valsa, Epigrams like haikus and senryu, can take the imagery spirally, here i think of victims of foul play, and never to be found...Love a poem, that impacts and makes one think.

The wheel of the gods grind slowly .....some fossils remain artifacts, some are converted into gems, and many are pulverised to satisfy greed or fears, but your words ring bells!
