Sour Grapes

A Tribute to My Brother’s Ex

Your wedding was a story book event;
my brother thought he was a lucky man.
He’d sacrifice for you his every cent
to give you all according to your plan.
And you were destined for an easy life
that women always dream of when they’re young,
and yet you still went out creating strife,
and slithered through the night with snake like tongue.
But now I hear that lately tables turned,
and you got everything that you deserved
when, by your latest lover, you got burned,
and that your precious pride was not preserved.
     And so to you I say with great profound;
     what goes around will always come around.

That was clever of you to think this up. I am just stuck on this contest. Can't seem to think of what to write about. Good luck in the contest. You did the challenge well.

Thank you, Andrea, I really appreciate it. I’m sure you will come up with something for the contest, you still have time. Besides you are the queen of last minute entries, I think you must work well under pressure. All the best. John

Yikes!! It certainly sounds like she got burned indeed. Your brother is better off without her. ~ Brandy

Some people are never satisfied with the love they have. We are all better off without people like that in our lives. John

Thanks, Jan. People like that usually get what they deserve sooner or later and then when they come crawling back with their tails between their legs we simply tell them "you made your bed now go lay in it." John
