Sounds That Create Magic
The best melodies are found in the darkest places.
Fire that crackles light into every life,
Waves that roar in the night,
Stars that twinkle brightness in a sky of gloom.
The light that is weary of silence.
A soft touch that erupts in the soul,
The rage enclosed by the sound of emptiness.
In sends a chilly whisper, through ice sickle tongues.
It gets hard to fight, the burning impassions,
It comes closer and closer, stomping its way,
Swiftly and gracefully, grazing through me, over-powering,
A horrid, bone-chilling, shriek then,
Poof.
The monster is gone, hearing a pin drop could have made it leave.
My fears are gone, my hearts pounds, hands sweating, I grasp my face,
Feeling my ears, I smile, I’m grateful for that sound
It’s like magic; it masked the monster it created,
The sound of magic has fallen to my ears and,
It will now serve and protect.
