Sounds of Violence

Sounds of Violence

When you hear the snakes in the grass
Maybe they will wait for you to die
Then, we'll watch them slither through your skull
Why was I so lost today
I feel picked apart
Slain me with a spike of natural goodness
I feel all eaten up inside
All I got left is my atomic heart
Running on time
Near drunk but far away
I know where there's wine

I Hear the crowds
There are screaming
The Earth caught them dreaming
Keep your guard, look 5 years down the road
You'll see empty cars
robots doing the work for you
China and" I robot",programmed assassins
why do we need a robot army
Drones have no guilt to murder women and children
Robots can reach the end of our galaxy
Travel at the speed of light
Something we can' not survive
Abuse of today the masters of puppets forgot
To say after 55,its all about care, its never too late
Live long and prosper but don't listen to what the millionairs have to say
Ignore the pain, say hi to the insane but don't let them into your eyes
Pray for the young, it is their world now
Its the time of the worst of nothing is easy
Nothing to be free with some two bit chance
I don't know when or if, I'll be happy again
No matter as long as my kid has a future
Then it will only rain
Now and again
Let the Earth all become friends
But if that happens ,it'll be because a threat
of existence to all mankind
Let the U.S.A become Canada's friend again
Us people with that powerless feel
Most believe it is a better way
Let it be,before we have to join a force
to repel Russia or China or both
then again, What is to win
when we just live to survive
To be witness
To more suffering and feeling everyone's pain
Bring us back to a more natural world
Where there was hate,Now, fill it with love and joy
