Soundless Sleep

Will my rest in heaven be a soundless sleep?
Will God accept me and want to keep?

Will my kingdom of glory have a warm soothing touch?
Will my body be cold, my spirit be hushed?

Will my rest in heaven be a soundless sleep?
Wil God accept me and want to keep?

Will Jesus be crying, begging for my salvation?
Will my heart have scorn and reject His invitation?

Will I enter gates of paradise onto God`s throne?
Wil I turn away shamefully and die alone?

Will my rest in heaven be a soundless sleep?
Will God accept me and want to keep?

Will I repent and cleanse my sinful being?
Will I continue to flee from "Gods presence" not seeing?

My God and savior awaits my final toll,
His patience caresses my newly saved soul.

My rest in heaven will not be a sound sleep.
My God will awake me.
My soul He shall keep.
