Soul-Stice

Thus will the pagans party
knowing cold cannot
defeat their sun
cheer wildly
as lengthening shadows
strain
to touch the symbol
of their joy
once more mark
the return
of their sun

Love this! My father for the first time this year wished me a Happy Solstice instead of Merry Christmas, accepting of his little pagan’s ways (this also the marker for the ebb of SAD to celebrate) ;), Warmest wishes to you John, what ever way you celebrate. xomo
