Souls Intertwined

My soul called to you, leaving its intent in the wind to find you on your heather enshrouded isle. My soul screamed for you and over you came, grabbing hold of it and smoothing it’s scars. My soul cried for you but…. now…. it just craves more. My soul was dying without you, now I’m complete, being comforted but still desiring your touch. My soul was rotting without you, you cut away the infection and every night I feel your presence in my arms. My soul still hunts but only for words to engrave on the moon, filled with my love for you. My soul is now complete, for I’ve found you and I’ll wait to have your head resting upon my chest every night. My soul still howls for you and you’ve answered. The moon rises by our connection and I hear you call me in the night.
