Soulmates

Darkness it surrounds me, I try to look around but see nothing. Arms stretched out I take two steps, I panic, I trip, I'm falling! Sitting still I try my best to listen The sounds should guide me now; I crawl forwards on all fours Crashing into the wall, i cut my brow! Just when I think it is time to give up I see a light in the distance It gets nearer, brighter...I'm scared; But then her voice breaks the silence. She reaches out and takes my hand, The lights come on, I can see! I was stumbling around trying to find her But my soulmate, she found me!
