Soulful Longing

The sky is clear and bright
It’s sparkling blue
O heart of mine,
Go find me
some love from somewhere.

There’s some romance lurking
in this wayward breeze
and the waves of the sea still flirt with me,
The wet sands play hide-n-seek
with the toes of my feet
arousing demanding desires in my heart…
Pray, go find me someone
to appease this lingering longing for love.

Look, the true souls are out and about
lost in their tasks of the day,
and spring is getting ready to close her shop,
gather her wares and move forth;
There’s a brief window of chance
for us to kiss and dance.

I wander alone,
Find someone to hold my hand
To gather me in her embrace;
How long I’m to linger in loneliness?
My days have turned into a fierce foe
and the nights ready to wield the fatal blow;

O heart of mine, make haste!
find someone to love me once more.
