Soulful Convo With the Soul
I thought it is wiser that I confess
That I overlooked that you are complex.
And that I had nudged you off the edge.
I thought I could mumble an apology to you.
For nobbling you and causing you blues.
I enslaved you with companions that you vexed.
I truly am sorry for feeding you venom as I treaded on idiosyncrasies led by the heart.
For exposing your weaknesses.
For degrading you.
For burying you under my deep hypnosis.
I don't know if it is worth it now
That I'm bowing before you
And learning of my faults,
Dear soul: I realize your glutted pain from gashes I filed with my smiles, giggles, chuckles and small talks.
For one moment I thought I was doing you a favor.
But I clothed you with conflagration.
I lost you in the vicinity of the search for affection.
I hoped to find you an inspiration.
To your misfortune, I drove the stranger; innately evil and insincere.
They had asked for you to draw near.
I handed you out of fear
Of skinning what I had built on the clear.
I really am uncertain that it is worth it now but I hope you find it
In your deepest core to grant me Another chance to hold my cards
Right and lead you to spring.
Dear Soul! soul oh my soul!
Despair not for occupying gullible us.
We need only this nigh time
To obviate your scars.
Forgive me, mind and heart for costing you living breaths.!
I would really appreciate it if you guys give me feedback 'cause I don't know whether I am on the right track.
Thanks for reading.
