Soul Searching

My soul calls for you,
     laying itself on
     the sacrificial table
           waiting
     for a response.

My soul screams for you,
     being devoured by
     my own depression,
     squirming in its pen,
     anointing myself
           in blood.

My soul cries for you,
     where,
              where,...
     your presence is required.

My soul dies for you,
     sheltered in this hollow husk,
     needing completion,
                 wanting comfort,
                             desiring you,.

My soul rots without you,
     pulling itself apart,
     trying to locate you
     and becoming a leper
     without you in my arms.

My soul hunts without you,
     trying to satiate
     this need for your flesh
     in my mouth,
          hoping to fill this desire
               with inadequate weaklings.

My soul is incomplete without you,
     drying up
          without your touch,
     craving to find you
          and knowing
     you're behind the next corner.

My soul howls for you,
     will you answer the call?
     The moon falls
     by my inability
     to locate you,
     will your soul
               call to me?
